Why Cancer Patients are now suffering - by Mandeep Rai

A leading surgeon in Kent has said that he has noticed an alarming drop in the number of people seeking treatment across east Kent. He is fearful that more cancer patients will die during this pandemic we are facing.

This could be because the government originally stopped all treatment at the start of the pandemic or because they are concerned about catching anything by going into the hospital.

Studies show that the number of cancer patients being treated across Kent has decreased yearly by 4000 on average.
