All the movies delayed because of Covid by Mandeep Rai

It goes without saying that Covid has been tough on the world this year! All industries have felt the strain of the virus and cinema is no exception. Regal Cinemas and Cineworld both recently confirmed temporary closures due to the lack of new film releases with James Bond being the straw that broke the camel’s back. Keep reading to discover what other films have been delayed:

Batman 

It was announced by Warner on 12/10 that Batman has been delayed from October 2021 to March 2022. This follows a tough time for the film after filming was temporarily brought to a halt following lead actor Robert Pattison contracting Covid-19. The film will be Pattison’s first as the Batman and is highly anticipated. We’re hoping it will be worth the wait! 

The Flash 

Another comic book film, “The Flash” has been pushed back to November 2022 from June 2022. The blockbuster starring Ezra Miller.

Dune 

“Dune”, an epic sci-fi with some big names attached, was due to be released in December this year but has been delayed till October 2021. 

It is expected that there will be more delays announced from movie production houses soon!
