Manchester loses its Tier 3 Battle by Mandeep Rai

 Breaking news - Andy Burnham has confirmed in a press statement this afternoon that government talks have broken down and Manchester will enter into Tier 3 lockdown from Friday in a bid to control the coronavirus outbreak.

He was not happy about it and said that the most most affected by a Tier 3 lockdown are those "too often forgotten by those in power". This was clearly a dig at the Tory government as they have often been criticised about not caring about the working classes.
