Should school pupils be able to dye their hair during term time? By mandeep Rai

 So, last week there was a story in the Herne Bay paper that a local young person was banned from dying her hair purple in honour of her late father. 

When I, Mandeep Rai, was at school this would have been unacceptable. However I completely understand why the young person would want to do this. She was looking to raise £500+ for a pancreatic cancer charity. The Herne Bay school in question stands by their decision.
