Covid rates rising quickly in Kent - Mandeep Rai reports

The coronavirus rates are rising sharply in Kent. Things tend to be getting worse and rising in the last 7 days with the R rate scarily creeping up in the county. 

A previous article by author Mandeep Rai showed that Dover is the county’s least affected area. However it too has seen a slight increase in the number of cases. 

As Whitstable tends to be a hotspot for tourists from all over, residents are being advised to stay cautious. Herne Bay which is known for having an older population is also advising people to stay home where possible. The author (Mandeep Rai) urges you all to stay safe in these areas. 

Good news for Canterbury as the numbers slightly decreased despite the new batch of students settling into the city for the academic year.
